For those visitors who like to combine nature and exercise, Burbank offers the Stough Canyon Nature Center on 2300 Walnut Avenue. The Nature Center features both fitness and leisure hikes like haunted hikes all year for individuals and families. Most hikes are around 90 minutes long and free. Groups of 10 or more are asked to call in advance.

Outdoor enthusiasts can also visit many of Burbank’s other parks like Brace Canyon Park on Haven Way and Scott Road; George Izay Park on West Olive Avenue and Mariposa Street; Johnny Carson Park on Bob Hope Drive and Olive Avenue; McCambridge Park on North Glenoaks Boulevard and Andover Drive; Ralph Foy Park on West Victory Boulevard and Hollywood Way; and Verdugo Park on West Verdugo Avenue and California Street.

Springtime Meadow

History buffs can visit the Burbank Aviation Museum on 10621 Victory Boulevard or the Historical Society's Gordon R. Howard Museum on 1015W. Olive Avenue. The Aviation Museum is dedicated to aircraft builders and pilots of the San Fernando Valley. The Howard Museum features a fully furnished 1887 house, vintage cars, clothing, and exhibits from Walt Disney and Warner Brothers.

July visitors can check out the Starlight Bowl, Burbank’s “premiere entertainment venue,” and enjoy an eclectic selection of concerts. Call for more information.
