Introduction
Only 12 miles from downtown Los Angeles, Burbank is a city of approximately 100,000 that is named after its founder, New Hampshire-born dentist David Burbank. Back in 1867 David Burbank established a sheep ranch on the land that later officially became the township of Burbank in 1887. Today Burbank is the headquarters of well-known production companies like The Walt Disney Company and Warner Brothers.
